Rock Cancer is the primary annual fundraiser for the Spierings Cancer Foundation. The event is held in late summer each year and is a day-long celebration of life and music and fun. Adults and children all enjoy a fun day of food, drink, games, raffle, silent auction, and of course music!

Refreshments, raffle tickets, silent auction bidding, and souvenirs are available for purchase throughout the day.
1st Annual Rock Cancer a Huge Success!
Our 1st annual Rock Cancer event, held on August 15, 2009, was fantastic. With over 3,000 people in attendance, our event raised over $50,000 for the Spierings Cancer Foundation, with all proceeds from the concert being used to help provide financial support for families affected by cancer; to enhance medical care for patients in the Fox Cities; and to fund cancer research in Wisconsin. |

Who We Helped
- $10,000 was granted to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Appleton WI
- $7,000 was granted to Appleton Memorial Medical Center
- $10,000 has been set aside for a research grant, we are currently accepting proposals.
- $15,500 has been given to families that were affected by cancer

Thank you to our family, friends, sponsors, volunteers and attendees of Rock Cancer 2009 for your support and generosity! The event was successful beyond our imagination. With the support of our sponsors, last year’s concert raised over $50,000 which allowed us to meet the goals in our mission.
